How the Civilian Tiers Work

The game divides its eight starting civilians into three tiers—S, A, and B—based on overall usefulness, stat spread, and the power of their special traits. S‑tier civilians excel in most matches, A‑tier are strong but have notable weaknesses, and B‑tier are solid choices that rely on specific situations.

S‑Tier Civilians

Laurie Strode offers a balanced stat line with high Capability and Personality, plus Spatial Awareness and Knockout, making her a safe all‑around pick who can keep Michael down longer.

Alexis Prucess may have low Capability, but her maxed Personality and follower‑focused traits give her excellent team support; followers take less damage and gain aggression when protecting her.

Marcus Navarro shines with ten Resourcefulness, using Repair Expert, Trespasser and Lone Wolf to stretch supplies, open locked doors, and boost his survivability when he is the last civilian alive.

A‑Tier Civilians

Rachel Calahan specializes in damaging Michael; her Full Moon trait boosts Bloodthirst damage by 40 % and her Aura of Awareness improves Shape Jump prevention.

Tanya Harrison provides strong team support with a maxed Personality, damage‑reduction for followers and useful information‑gathering traits.

B‑Tier Civilians

Jennifer Aarons excels at evasion with high Athleticism and anti‑stalk traits, while Survival Rage adds melee damage when terrified.

Eric Dunn offers useful utility such as Hunters Sense and fast reloads, but his low Athleticism limits mobility when Michael gets close.

Richard Hawthorne has solid stats and powerful traits, yet his bonuses depend on being both intoxicated and high, making his performance inconsistent.
