Where To Find More Malicite Mass?
You can locate additional Malicite Mass by following the reddish‑black smoke that appears in Eastern Kyoto. Choose a high vantage point, such as a bridge, and watch for the smoke, which spawns where you have previously absorbed Genma Rifts.
Travel to the smoke’s location, defeat the Genma, seal the rift, and then collect the Malicite and the Malicite Mass that drop.
Occasionally a Byakue will appear, giving you the chance to earn more Byakue’s Talismans as well.
How To Spawn Another Genma Rift
After sealing a rift, you may not see any more reddish‑black smoke nearby. To generate a new rift, simply save your game, exit to the title screen, load the save again, and you’ll find a fresh smoke trail.
Repeating this a few times is enough to gather the quantity needed to max out your gauntlet.
How Many Malicite Mass Do You Need To Fully Upgrade The Oni Gauntlet?
To bring the Oni Gauntlet from level one to level five, you need a total of 30 Malicite Mass. In addition, you’ll require 55 regular Malicite, 34 Byakue’s Talismans, and 22 Dohatsu Ten’s Horns. Most of these items come from normal gameplay, while the Byakue’s Talismans, Malicite, and Malicite Mass are the key sources you’ll need to farm.
With these resources in hand, you’ll be well prepared for the final boss.
