Peak is already full of weird surprises, but Clown Luggage might be one of the more suspicious things you can stumble across while climbing. This colorful baggage is easy to miss when you’re busy trying not to become a mountain-shaped pancake, and finding enough of it is key to earning the Jester Badge.
The catch is Clown Luggage doesn’t politely wait in one convenient spot for you. Its locations can change, so you’ll need to keep your eyes peeled as you explore. Thankfully, there are a few ways to make your search less of a luggage scavenger hunt. Here’s everything you need to know about finding Clown Luggage and working toward the Jester Badge without spending your entire expedition wondering if that colorful suitcase was there five minutes ago.
How To Find Clown Luggage And Get The Jester Badge
Clown Luggage is a large, rare, colorful piece of luggage decorated with a clown face on the front. Each one can contain up to six items, which pop slightly outward when the luggage is opened. It can be found tucked away in hard-to-spot locations throughout Peak.
The luggage can appear anywhere along your route and across different biomes, so keep an eye out for hidden areas as you climb. Though, you’re more likely to find them in later biomes, such as the Citadel.
Be careful when opening it, though, as some Clown Luggage can contain dynamite.
You need to find three pieces of Clown Luggage to unlock the Jester Badge. Since the locations are randomized each day, there is no guaranteed route to follow. Be sure to also play on Tenderfoot, as that’ll give you the time to search without a time limit.
However, you can use The Pirate’s Compass, found in Regular Luggage or Big Luggage, which is an equipment item that points toward the nearest unopened luggage. This makes it much easier to track down Clown Luggage.
