Wardogs Takes the FPS Community by Storm

Only a few months before Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 arrives, the indie shooter Wardogs has surged in popularity. Its closed beta attracted over 100,000 active players and 500,000 downloads, and the title will make a big impact when it officially launches on September 10.

Global Release Times

According to the Wardogs X account, the early‑access build goes live at 16:00 UTC on September 10. That works out to 9:00 AM in Los Angeles (PDT), noon in New York (EDT), 1:00 PM in São Paulo (BRT), 5:00 PM in London (BST), 6:00 PM in Berlin (CEST), 7:00 PM in Moscow (MSK), midnight in Singapore (SGT) and 1:00 AM in Tokyo (JST) the next day, and 2:00 AM in Sydney (AEST). Players can pre‑download the game on Steam now, so they’ll be ready to jump into 100‑player battles the moment the clock strikes.

What to Expect From Wardogs Early Access

The developers plan to keep the game in early access for one to two years. During this period players can enjoy a 100‑player, three‑team experience on large maps with dynamic objectives, cash and XP progression that rewards every action, realistic gunplay tuned for fun rather than simulation, vehicles and logistics that support strategic play, and online multiplayer with proximity voice chat.

A launch trailer will drop at 10:00 AM UTC on September 10, showcasing these features and building hype for the early‑access build.

While Wardogs will eventually aim for console releases after the 1.0 launch, no specific date has been announced. For now, the game is positioned as one of the most exciting titles of the year, thanks to its fast‑paced action, large‑scale strategic battles, and accessible milsim gameplay that has already earned praise from the beta test.
