Trick in the Early Game

Trick is a clone trooper who joins your roster early and serves as a bruiser and damage dealer. He excels at taking on tougher enemies or closing in for melee attacks. His passive Strength and the melee skill Brutal Strike add solid close‑range damage and apply the Dazing status. His Rocket Strike, costing 10 Advantage, launches a rocket that damages all foes in the radius, destroys cover and can make enemies Vulnerable when fully upgraded—especially effective against grouped battle droids.

The key talent, For My Brothers, lets Trick revive instantly after his first down, starting with half health and eventually returning with full health and an extra AP point. Because operator death is permanent, this ability lets you play more aggressively, knowing Trick can recover from a bad engagement.

When building Trick, prioritize For My Brothers and his melee abilities. Rocket Strike is already strong, so you can focus resources elsewhere. For weapons, the Repeater offers burst fire, while the Blaster Rifle costs less AP and pairs well with Brutal Strike; choose the Blaster Rifle if you want a melee‑focused playstyle.

Trick in Mid/Late Game

Unlocking a second specialization opens many build options. While an Assault‑focused melee build is possible, a Heavy specialization that emphasizes survivability works best. Conditioning raises his health, Unstoppable lets him counterattack when hit, and the Bulwark action taunts enemies in a radius, turning Trick into a durable frontline tank. Maximize For My Brothers, Unstoppable, and Conditioning, and keep his melee skills upgraded to blend survivability with Rocket Strike damage.

Pair Trick with high‑damage, mobile allies such as Cly and Tel, who can flank and eliminate backline targets while Trick draws enemy focus. Also include a Medic; Combat Stim and Medpacs keep Trick alive, and a Longarm Blaster lets the Medic provide Overwatch damage from the rear. With these synergies, Trick can tank enemy fire and still deliver powerful bursts, making him a versatile cornerstone of any team.
