Den Overview

In Star Wars Zero Company the Den is your base hub. It contains 11 interactive areas where you can manage operators, equip gear, heal injuries, and access missions. You can jump between locations via the map, which also shows new dialogue or unlocked upgrades.

How to Upgrade Your Den

To upgrade, open the menu on the left side of the base after a mission. Upgrades are permanent improvements to the facility, crew, or weapons. Each upgrade costs cycles, credits, and sometimes capacitors, and requires a minimum Den level. You must also have unlocked all lower‑tier upgrades in the same line before you can purchase a higher one.

Resources Needed

The three resources are cycles (in‑game days), credits (earned from missions), and capacitors (rewarded from operations and influence). A single upgrade may need one or more cycles to complete, and the cost rises with each tier.

Increasing Den Level

Den level rises by gaining influence from missions, operations, and zone rewards. Zones Isk and Dorn grant level bonuses. You can see the XP reward in the bottom‑right corner of a mission’s detail page to decide where to spend your limited cycles.

Den Slots

You start with one upgrade slot at Cycle 4. Additional slots are earned by reaching Influence tier 3 in Zone Dom (slot 2) and completing the critical operation “A Dark Shadow” at Cycle 13 (slot 3). These slots limit how many upgrades you can install at once.

Facility Upgrades

The most useful early upgrades are the second levels of the Medbay, Networking, and Core Zone Influence. They provide extra healing beds, faster healing costs, and more influence per use, helping you keep operators ready for tougher missions. The Black Market can be upgraded a few levels for better items, but its rotating stock makes it less reliable than direct upgrades.

Crew Upgrades

Crew upgrades boost all operators at once. Key early choices are Teamwork upgrades, which add Bond XP and increase assist damage, and Utility Items upgrades that give extra gadget slots. Crew Focus upgrades grant extra Focus Points, while Crew Quarters upgrades raise the maximum number of operators you can field.

Weapon Upgrades

Weapon upgrades affect only the characters that use a specific weapon type. Early investments in Longarm, Pistol, Repeater, and Rifle damage or movement distance provide noticeable combat benefits. Because pistols require low action points, they are especially valuable when paired with Bond XP and other buffs.

Conclusion

Focus on unlocking the three Den slots, raise your Den level through influence‑rich missions, and prioritize Medbay, Networking, and Core Influence upgrades for the biggest early‑game payoff. Then tailor crew and weapon upgrades to the playstyle of your most used operators, and you’ll have a powerful, flexible base to tackle any mission.
