All Map Fragment Locations And How To Find Them

Mortal Shell 2 hides its world behind a fog of war, and Map Fragments are the key to clearing the map. By locating each fragment you reveal more of the world and make navigation far easier. Below is a guide to every fragment in the game.

In the Fainweald region there are five fragments. The first sits near the Widow’s Overlook Beacon: head west, cross the small bridge, pass through the mountain pass, explore the ruins, drop down and move left into the Ruins of Nochte, then follow the right path to The Hag’s Path and finally keep left to claim the fragment. The second fragment is found at the One Legged Wolf Beacon: travel south to the broken bridge, drop down, turn right, take the left‑hand stairs to the Citadel of Penance, break the iron gates, turn right, climb the walls and follow the left trail to the fragment. The third fragment begins at Widow’s Overlook Beacon again; take the uphill path on the right, locate a wooden cart on the left, cross the nearby bridge and the fragment awaits. The fourth fragment lies in the Unknown Shell Search Area: from Widow’s Overlook Beacon head south, continue straight until an elevated platform appears on the right and jump onto it to collect the piece. The fifth fragment is in Mushroom Village: start at the Mushroom Village Beacon, head northeast, cross a bridge toward a house, take the right bridge, turn left and break through the barrier to reach the fragment.

The Mammon region contains six fragments. The first starts at the Outskirts of Mammon Beacon: go south on the Road to Absolution, follow the path to a left‑hand cart, jump down, head left to Revenant Grave, then take the right route and climb the stairs while watching for enemies. The second fragment is also reached from the Outskirts of Mammon Beacon: travel south to the Road to Absolution, continue to Castigator’s Keep, take the left path across a small bridge, follow the right trail to Silent Steps, enter the descending cave of Vestige of Infinity and keep left to find the fragment. The third fragment begins at the same beacon; head south along the Road to Absolution until Castigator’s Keep, then follow the left path to the end, go through the right‑hand gate and proceed straight to the fragment. The fourth fragment requires heading southwest from the Outskirts of Mammon Beacon, turning left through an entrance, then right across bridges into the Deserted Slums, taking the left path inside to the fragment. The fifth fragment is found by moving southwest past a small camp, crossing the bridge behind it to reach the fragment directly. The sixth fragment starts at the Outskirts of Mammon Beacon, goes southwest past the camp, turns left at the bridge, crosses a series of small bridges into the Deserted Slums, then heads right to High Lord’s Keep and follows the right‑hand path to the fragment.

Collecting all the fragments will clear the fog of war across the entire map, giving you a complete view of the world and making future travel much smoother. Happy exploring, and may your sense of direction be sharper than ever.
