Returning to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The time has finally come to return to one of Nintendo’s best games, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, now with a fresh look and streamlined gameplay. While veterans will have an advantage, the remake makes it easy for newcomers to explore the world.

The pacing is balanced so that even first‑time players can enjoy the journey without feeling rushed, even though they may spend less overall time than they would with the original.

How Long Does It Take To Beat

If you’re playing Ocarina of Time for the first time, expect to spend about 22 to 25 hours to finish the main story.

Veterans who have played the original will move through the game more quickly, with a typical completion time of 18 to 20 hours. The slight variation accounts for returning players who may explore the updated areas and appreciate the new graphics.

How Long Does It Take To 100 Percent Complete

Achieving 100 % completion adds extra time. New players should plan on roughly 30 hours total, which includes an additional 8 to 10 hours beyond the main story.
