Epoxy Buckets in Arc Raiders: Frozen Trail
Arc Raiders: Frozen Trail is the newest DLC for the extraction shooter, adding a fresh map, two new ARC enemies, additional weapons, quests, an Outpost to build, quality‑of‑life improvements, and new loot. Many of these materials are used to craft, upgrade, or construct the new gear introduced in the expansion.
One of the rare items you’ll need is the Epoxy Bucket, required to upgrade a Level 3 Outpost. It is a Rare‑tier object that can be easy to miss and difficult to locate if you don’t know where to look. Here’s how to find every Epoxy Bucket you need.
Where To Find Epoxy Buckets
Epoxy Buckets are currently exclusive to the new Pendola Pass map, a snow‑covered region introduced with the DLC. While future updates may change this, for now you must search this location to collect the buckets.
The most productive spots are Railyard, Cielo Sereno Observatory, Almatera Station, and the Snow Shelters that appear during flash‑freeze events. Railyard is divided into three sections; the large structure on the east side contains an open office area and a few small rooms. An Epoxy Bucket often sits on a chair, desk, or table there, and you can also find one among the luggage, inside train cars, or in breakable metal boxes on the southern side of the point of interest.
Cielo Sereno Observatory, perched in the map’s northeastern corner, is another hotspot. Prioritize the metal boxes you need to breach; they have a high chance of spawning Epoxy Buckets. The surrounding maintenance tunnels are filled with breakable containers, toolboxes, and black crates, allowing you to average two to three buckets per run.
Almatera Station offers many open trains and containers, but the sheer number of breakable objects reduces the odds of finding a bucket. It’s worth checking the trains, yet it’s better to focus on Railyard and the Observatory first.
Snow Shelters become available only during a flash freeze, indicated by a white‑tent icon on the map. These high‑traffic locations can yield multiple Epoxy Buckets, but the rush of other Raiders makes them unreliable. If a storm hits and you’re nearby, head to the shelter first – it almost always contains a bucket and additional high‑tier loot.
