CD Projekt RED teases Witcher 4 and upcoming DLC at Gamescom
CD Projekt RED has released a short video ahead of Gamescom, announcing that the upcoming Witcher 3: Wild Hunt DLC, Songs of the Past, will be showcased at the event, while the next Witcher installment, led by Ciri, targets a 2028 release.
Joint‑CEO Michał Nowakowski said Songs of the Past will be featured on the Cologne show floor and that a livestream from August 25‑30 will let fans follow along, with hints of “a surprise or two” during the streams. The next game itself is not expected to be revealed.
Nowakowski noted the company isn’t ready to give an exact launch date, but the 2028 window remains the target. With the DLC arriving next year, fans won’t have to wait long for fresh Witcher content.
