Leaked Steam Achievements Hint at Upcoming Games
Exophase is a database that tracks trophies and achievements across Steam, PlayStation and Xbox. Recently it began posting what appeared to be Steam achievements for unreleased titles, drawing attention with possible Persona 6 story hints and potential Kingdom Hearts IV spoilers. Several games that have not yet been announced are now showing up on the site.
Site owner Mike Bendel says this may have been a Steam API error rather than a malicious leak. He explained the situation on a ResetEra thread:
Yes I am the owner of the site and this is what appears to have happened. It seems like a possible screw‑up on Valve’s end, with many games that should have private achievements now accessible through the API, which caused them to be scanned into the database. Normally I don’t see games without a proper name appear with achievements, but over the past hour a number of them have shown up (when the name is unknown we simply use the AppID).
The result is that several games, including ones that haven’t been announced, are appearing on the site, which Gematsu compiled in one place. Standout titles include Fable, Judas, Kena: Scars of Kosmora, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Kingdom Hearts IV. The Kingdom Hearts entry may have exposed Disney‑themed worlds, and while Square Enix has only confirmed Sora will visit a world based on Pixar’s Coco, the leak suggests other locations might be revealed.

There may be some less obvious reveals in this leaked achievements list, but this is what we’re working with. We’ve reached out to Square Enix for comment and will update the story if we hear back.
