Exciting new legends and awesome display cards

Riftbound’s Radiance set, the fifth in its short history, adds nine new Legend cards, with Riven, Orianna and Mordekaiser standing out as the most powerful. Legends are added sparingly to avoid oversaturation and, while they don’t make or break a set, a weak lineup can hurt the set’s perception.

The Radiance artwork is vibrant and eye‑catching, making the set a favorite for collectors who want display‑worthy cards.

Let’s not forget the unsung heroes of any TCG set

Radiance introduces 182 new cards, or 282 including artistic variants, with 109 commons and uncommons. Units make up just under half of those common‑uncommon cards, reflecting their crucial role in Riftbound gameplay. Because the set is small, the distribution of card types is uneven, but the cost range is well balanced across low, mid and high costs.

Riftbound Radiance Product Line

The core products are the Booster Box and Vault, which provide multiple packs. A new Showdown product pits Evelynn against Seraphine and includes two pre‑constructed 56‑card decks, each with a Legend, a 12‑card Rune deck, a 40‑card main deck and three Battlefield cards. The Showdown box also contains two Radiance booster packs, two paper playmats and two cardboard boxes, offering a ready‑to‑play competitive experience. For newcomers, the Proving Grounds box remains the best teaching tool, while Showdown is a close second. Additional Radiance merchandise includes a themed binder, card sleeves and playmats.

Radiance was released in 2025 and was designed by Dave Guskin, the game director.

Is Riftbound Radiance worth buying?

Radiance is a small set, making it easy to collect and digest, and it exceeds expectations for building new decks or learning the game. The draft experience is limited by the set size, leading to some repetition in early events, but for casual play or deck building it is highly rewarding. The set caps off an impressive year for Riftbound and looks set to boost the game’s profile in 2027.
