Marvel’s Wolverine Suits: How to Unlock and Craft
Marvel’s Wolverine offers a large roster of costumes, with 27 in the base game and 32 in the Digital Deluxe edition. Most suits must be crafted using materials found in hidden crates, each granting 50 units. Once a suit is crafted, its corresponding claws are unlocked, though they can be mixed and matched.
Unlocking the Core Suits
The first suit, Team X Tactical, appears automatically at the start and can be swapped from the Homecoming chapter onward. The classic Tank Top suit is also given automatically when the Homecoming chapter begins. The Battle Reborn and Gold Standard suits become craftable during Homecoming, with the former featuring Bone Claws and the latter adding Bone Claws as well.
Story‑Driven and Collectible Suits
Several outfits unlock as the narrative progresses. The Fang, Old Man Logan, Ultimate Red, and Ablation suits become available to craft from the start of The One Who Got Away chapter. Future Past is granted automatically at the beginning of Something Much Stronger. Weapon X can be crafted from the same chapter and includes Curved Claws. Dressed Down appears automatically in One Last Mission. Leather Jacket is unlocked at the start of Jet Lag, while X‑Force and Blue and Gold suits are craftable from Get Angry onward, each with distinct claw types. Ultimate Yellow and Accursed are also craftable from Get Angry, with Crescent and Natural Bone Claws respectively. The Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls suit is unique; it becomes craftable when entering the arcade in In The Shadows and features locked claws.
Additional Classic and Special Suits
Classic Brown can be crafted after pre‑ordering or from Way Down Low, offering Reflective Claws. Black Tank is craftable from Way Down Low with Ragged Adamantium Claws. The Yellow Variant, also craftable from Way Down Low, includes Variant Claws. Animated, considered the best suit, is crafted from Way Down Low and comes with Animated Claws; it too has locked claws. Patch is automatically unlocked at the start of Roll The Dice. Feral, the final craftable suit, becomes available from I’m Still Here and includes special claws.
Completion‑Based Suits
Future Fugitive requires obtaining Gold on all three Nightmare Door Gauntlets found in One Last Mission, Sinister Tidings, and This Was The Dream, granting Techno‑Organic Claws. Hellverine is unlocked by achieving Adamantium on those same gauntlets, providing Charred Bone Claws. Death, the final costume, is earned by reaching 100 % game completion, unlocking Serrated Spine Claws. Age of Apocalypse, Incredible, New Leather, and Savage suits are exclusive to the Digital Deluxe edition, each with unique claw variations.
Conclusion
Collecting materials, completing story milestones, and achieving full completion are the keys to unlocking Marvel’s Wolverine’s diverse wardrobe, allowing players to customize Logan’s look and claws to suit any playstyle.
