Fact Sheet
The memory crisis has become normal, and I was excited to see an RTX 5080 PC listed for $2,800 on Newegg. A year ago that would have seemed expensive, but today anything under $3,000 for a system with 32 GB DDR5 RAM and 2 TB storage is a good price, and the GPU alone costs more than $2,000.
The RAM runs at 4,800 MT/s, below the ideal 6,000 MT/s, but the impact on gaming frames is minimal; you may notice occasional dips, but overall performance remains strong. The CPU is a current‑generation Intel chip with eight performance cores, sufficient for both gaming and productivity, though it doesn’t match the highest‑spec or X3D parts.
The system includes a 360 mm AIO cooler that should keep the Core Ultra 265F from throttling, and it’s housed in a stylish chassis with attractive angled bottom fans. Overall, it’s a solid high‑end build at the cheapest price I’ve seen for an RTX 5080 PC. All our current recommendations are worth a look.
