GTA 6 Leaks Reveal Early Prologue Featuring Lucia
The Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks continue, with Cyberleak sharing what appears to be the game’s opening prologue featuring Lucia, sparking new spoiler warnings.
On August 26, Cyberleak posted another leak that seems to be the upcoming open‑world title’s prologue, highlighting a character not seen in most previous leaks. Kotaku will not provide direct links or reveal spoilers about the clip.
In the leaked prologue, Lucia appears in prison — a scene that was one of the first official details about GTA 6. Additional footage shows more of her past, but much of the clip returns to the prison setting first shown in the 2023 trailer. Ironically, an earlier leak of that same prison scene forced Rockstar to release the trailer ahead of schedule, and three years later the same setting reappears in a fresh leak.
Cyberleak added on‑screen text claiming the build is “actually recent” and that GTA 6 “is not ready at all” to ship. The leaker also criticized Sony and Rockstar for restricting ownership and resale rights and suggested Rockstar is overworking its employees, saying the time needed to reach gold is excessive.
It is unclear whether Cyberleak’s statements are accurate. Some observers think the hacker, currently pursued by online sleuths and Take‑Two lawyers, is becoming desperate as the official gameplay reveal approaches on August 27. Once that reveal occurs, his gameplay videos may lose appeal, potentially affecting his crypto token, which he likely wants to protect. Sharing story spoilers could sustain interest, even though many online are unhappy about the leaks.
Rockstar addressed the leaks earlier, calling them “heartbreaking” and assuring fans that it looks forward to showing GTA 6 when it’s finished and ready. The company said, “While it is unfortunate that the intended game experience may now be impacted by some spoilers, we hope that everyone will wait a bit longer to experience the game for themselves on November 19.”
This is a developing story, and further updates will be provided as they become available.
