Xbox X25 controller is back in stock
The translucent green Xbox X25 controller, released to celebrate Microsoft’s 25th anniversary, will be available tomorrow, October 20, in both the United States and the United Kingdom. After a brief shortage following the first pre‑order wave in August, a fresh batch has returned to shelves, making it possible to purchase the limited‑edition gamepad today.
Where to buy in the United States
Walmart and Best Buy still have units in stock and offer free shipping that can arrive on launch day. GameStop also lists the controller at $79.99, but its delivery is scheduled for two to three business days, which is slower than the free‑shipping options at Walmart and Best Buy. Microsoft’s own store has the device in stock as well, though shipments won’t reach customers until Thursday, October 22.
Where to buy in the United Kingdom
Amazon remains fully stocked with the controller priced at £74.99 and provides free delivery for release‑day arrival. EE and Currys list the same price, with EE promising free delivery expected on October 20 and Currys offering in‑store pickup from October 21. Argos and Very also have the controller available; Argos may deliver on the day depending on postcode, while Very requires a £5.99 next‑day fee and ships on October 21.
What about the limited‑edition Xbox X25 console?
The numbered, $900 Xbox X25 console is still scarce. It is slated to hit shelves on November 13, 2026, and Microsoft has indicated that additional units could appear in the weeks after pre‑orders begin, as some buyers cancel or checks bounce. Fans who want the console should act quickly when the first wave of stock becomes available.
