Fire Emblem: Three Houses Inspired One Segment Of Attack On Titan 3
Attack on Titan 3 is Koei Tecmo’s third game based on Hajime Isayama’s manga, and it is the first title to bring the anime’s Final Season to life. The developers promise fresh evolutions in both combat and story compared to the previous entries.
The new installment focuses heavily on social relationships. Players can talk to fellow cadets, give them gifts, and raise trust levels that unlock perks, battle abilities, and an Advice Event once a certain threshold is reached.
Success in the Advice Event deepens the bond, makes the character playable, and grants a unique skill tied to that comrade. This system mirrors Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ Tea‑Time mechanic, a connection the director acknowledged.
“Yes, absolutely. I personally know the development team behind Fire Emblem: Three Houses because it was created by Koei Tecmo. We saw how its tea‑time activities and character conversations were very well received,” Suzuki said. “Those interactions appealed to fans and newcomers alike, proving to be a powerful way to engage players with the characters, so we wanted to use a similar approach in our game.”
The full interview with Hideo Suzuki will go live at 7 AM ET on October 30, and you can read it on TheGamer. In the meantime, the studio invites players to try a three‑hour hands‑on preview.
Attack on Titan 3 is scheduled for release on December 10, 2026 and carries an M‑rated 17+ rating for violence, blood and gore, partial nudity and language.
