The Warrior Tarot Quest Overview
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse has launched, putting players in the shoes of Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor, as she investigates the ruin of Paris. To grow stronger, she must collect powerful Tarot Cards, beginning with the Warrior card, which unlocks the Infernal Pyre ability and Rose’s own sword.
The Warrior Tarot Location
Start the quest in the Burned District. After leaving the save room, head left to find a floating spirit on a small suspension bridge. Speaking with her gives the first clue and begins the Warrior Tarot quest.
Climbing the Prison Tower
The tower is accessed by heading left from the spirit, then moving south through the sewers and back up to street level. Retract the drawbridge, enter the tower, and navigate spike and swinging axe traps. Use switches and breakable objects to open shortcuts, and locate a mid‑tower save point to ease repeated attempts. Continue upward until you reach a section requiring wall jumps across spike plates, then use grapple points to drop to the spirit below for the next clue.
Carpenter’s Crane Sketch
The spirit hands Rose a sketch showing a circled crane hook on the map. First, climb further up the tower to a hallway that leads left up stairs, then descend to the mid‑tower save point. From there, head left, use purple and yellow grapple points to ascend, swing right across a gap, and pull the yellow point repeatedly. This activates an elevator that provides a quicker route to the boss chamber.
Defeating Joan of Arc
The Warrior’s boss is Joan of Arc, who blames Rose’s family for Paris’s chaos. She attacks with a ground‑sweeping sword, a hovering fire orb, and a three‑hit thrust combo. The key is to dodge between each thrust: slide past after the first strike, strike her back twice, then slide again when she turns. Stay close to her hip, as her attacks are slow and easy to evade. When she summons fire pillars, listen for her warning and dodge; use grapple points to launch upward and avoid her explosive fire attack. After her health drops to 50%, she gains a high‑damage move with active grapple rings; launch yourself into the air to bypass the blast. Finally, stay near her, dodge her sword thrusts, and avoid the fire pillar and aerial attacks. Defeating her grants the Warrior Tarot card, the Infernal Pyre ability, and Rose’s sword.
