The Blood of Dawnwalker 2 Is Currently Hiring Developers

After a successful launch in a packed gaming month, The Blood of Dawnwalker has quickly become one of the year’s biggest RPGs, drawing millions of players and earning rave reviews despite a few technical hiccups. Capitalizing on that momentum, the studio behind the title is already gearing up for a sequel.

LinkedIn post from narrative director Jakub Szamalek revealed that the team is seeking a Lead Writer to “craft the next chapter of the Dawnwalker saga.” The posting demands exceptional writing skills, a proven track record of excellence, and experience managing teams, reflecting the veteran nature of the current staff.

The job listing also emphasizes the need to ensure lore consistency and expand the franchise’s own IP, hinting that the upcoming installment will build on the established world while introducing fresh content.

The Announcement Isn’t A Total Surprise

Although the hiring news arrived just six days after the game’s release, it isn’t entirely unexpected. The game director had previously expressed a desire to develop multiple sequels, even promising a Mass Effect‑style system where player choices carry over between titles.

Interviews also hinted at a flexible setting for the sequels: by carrying over saved games, players could explore new eras, countries, cultures, and encounter new mythological creatures without losing the impact of their previous decisions.

Even though the developers have already teased aspects of the sequel’s setting in the game’s finale, there remains ample room for new locations and storylines, allowing the franchise to evolve while maintaining a cohesive, multi‑entry narrative.
