Introduction
Collin, a Guides Staff Writer at TheGamer with nearly a decade of experience, loves level design and is still waiting for a new for v2v3->new Ape Escape game. In The Blood of Dawnwalker players have many activities, but completing the 13 Ancient Rituals is especially rewarding, offering manuals, money, armor and weapons.
What Is the Ancient Circle?
The Ancient Circle is a daytime side activity that can’t be started while Vampire Coen is active, so the sun must be out. Players enter a sealed arena and must defeat a horde of spectral and undead enemies. When all foes are slain, a chest becomes lootable, granting the reward. Starting the trial consumes one segment of time, meaning you need two full days to visit every location. Equip gear that boosts damage against supernatural foes for the best chance of success.
All Ancient Circle Sites and Rewards
The 13 Ancient Circle sites are scattered across the map. The first lies in the northern swamps of Briar Sloughs, near the Cross shrine; it rewards the Potent Revitalizing Tonic recipe and the Mercurial Favor manual. The second is in the eastern woods outside Maragir, granting the Soul Reaping manual. The third is west of the Eerie Knoll shrine, perched on a rocky cliff, and offers the Burning Blood manual. The fourth hides deep in Boar’s Back woods, reachable from Parlita by locating a large stone slab; it provides the Potent Fortitude Paste recipe and another Burning Blood manual. The fifth is far west of Briar Sloughs, below a broken bridge in the gorge near the Coward’s Path shrine, and yields the Cycle of Ruin manual. The sixth is southwest of Parlita, accessed by turning right onto the southern road into a forest clearing, also giving the Cycle of Ruin manual. The seventh is found at the base of the mountain near the Hunter’s Camp shrine, rewarding the Potent Vigor Infusion recipe and the Restless Blade manual. The eighth sits southeast of the Turtle Rock shrine in the southern Silts, offering the Mortal’s Blood Infusion recipe and the Artery Strike manual. The ninth is in The Swamp Menhirs, deep in the southwestern muck, and grants the Stinging Blade manual. The tenth is the only large clearing in the Tantari Woods, reachable from the Howling Keep shrine; it rewards the Perfect Riposte manual. The eleventh is south of the Silty Mug Inn, along the river, also giving the Perfect Riposte manual. The final two are in St. Tyna’s Grove: one in the southwestern forest, providing the Cycle of Ruin manual, and the last northeast of the Grove Tower, offering the Soul Reaping manual.
