Piko Interactive Collection 1 Returns to Evercade
Blaze has announced that the Piko Interactive Collection 1 cartridge, previously considered a legacy item, is being re‑released in print. The new edition trims the original 20‑game lineup to 19 titles, dropping the anime‑styled vertical shooter Magic Girl but adding a 40‑hour Sega Mega Drive RPG, Brave Battle Saga, which originally launched in Asia in 1996. The collection arrives in a gatefold case with refreshed artwork, offering fans a chance to revisit classic 16‑bit adventures.
While titles such as The Immortal, Drakkhen and Radical Rex are well known, the set also includes lesser‑known gems like 8 Eyes on the NES, expanding the library for both newcomers and veterans.
The re‑release signals a broader effort by Blaze to revive discontinued Evercade cartridges, a move that could bring more archived games back into circulation and help the Evercade platform grow within the retro console market.
The upcoming Evercade Nexus, a handheld focused on 3D gaming, will retail for $199.99 and feature a full joystick assembly, a 5.89‑inch IPS display, and upgraded specifications, positioning it as a potential upgrade over the Super Pocket or older Evercade models.
Even the more affordable Super Pocket Rare Edition, priced at $74.99 on Amazon, will continue to support the same game library.
With this new build and over 500 additional releases, the Evercade ecosystem becomes increasingly compelling for a platform that is only six years old.

The fact that Blaze is actively bringing back discontinued Evercade carts is a great sign. Not only does it mean we could see more archived releases return, but it also ensures that new owners won’t miss out on classic titles as they start building their libraries.
