Where To Find Tombat

Tombat is a mischievous Dark‑type Pal that is valuable for completing the Palpedia and for its useful detection ability. In the released version of Palworld it appears as a cavern boss in optional dungeons on the Palpagos Islands, but only during nighttime.

You can encounter Tombat in three main spots: the autumn woods near the starting area before the Rayne Syndicate Tower, the hilly desert south of the red trees in the same autumn wood region, and the north, west and south sides of Marsh Island northeast of the game’s start point.

Tombat’s Stats In Palworld 1.0

Tombat is listed as Palpedia number 52, is a Dark element, and possesses the partner skill Ultrasonic Sensor, which activates ultrasonic waves to detect nearby dungeons, treasure chests and scrap piles.

Its work suitability includes Gathering at level 2, Mining at level 3, and Transporting at level 2.

Having Tombat in your party greatly improves treasure hunting. Simply ask it to use Ultrasonic Sensor, and it will highlight any nearby dungeons, chests or scrap for you to collect.
