Dispatch Developer Unveils New Site, Teases Future Projects

AdHoc Studio, the developer behind the wonderful Dispatch, has updated its official website with a message promising “more to come” from the studio.

As the stacked Game of the Year lineup proved, 2025 was a stand-out year for video games. While Clair Obscur, Silksong, and Hades 2 were all excellent, I don’t think I’m alone in saying that Dispatch was perhaps the biggest surprise of the year. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Telltale formula work, but Dispatch proved that it still has a ton of potential.

Ever since Dispatch became one of the biggest indie hits in recent memory, everyone has been crying out for AdHoc to confirm that a second season is going to happen. More than six months after the release of the final episode, though, the future of Dispatch still hasn’t been confirmed. While we all wonder what’s next for AdHoc, its official website has a little message about the future.

AdHoc Studios Says There’s “More To Come” On Its Updated Website

Just Remember That Critical Role Game Before You Get Too Excited

At some point in the last week or so, the official AdHoc Studio website received a rather spiffy update that significantly fleshes it out. Dispatch has rightfully been plastered all over the site with new links for merch, a timeline of development, character bios, and much more that’s a treat for fans. Hey, at this point, any Dispatch content is good news.

That’s not all, though. As pointed out by Twitter user DomTheBomb, the website’s About page has been updated with an interesting little message at the end. After sharing details about the studio’s history, the About page says, “and that’s it for now” before teasing the future with a message that says “more to come”.

Considering how silent AdHoc has been in the months since Dispatch stole all of our hearts, it’s about as close as we’re going to get to a tease for what’s next for the team. I’m already seeing some Dispatch fans take this as a sure sign that Season 2 is going to be announced in the near future, but it’s worth keeping expectations in check.

AdHoc has seemed fairly uncertain about whether it even wants to continue Dispatch just yet. The team has also been known to be working on a Critical Role game for quite some time now and, with CR playing a big part in the studio still being around and getting to release Dispatch, I can’t imagine AdHoc wants to delay working on it for too long.

For now, it’s all just speculation based on a pretty standard message, but it is at least nice to know that AdHoc is aware of how eager everyone is to see what’s next from it. Just don’t get your hopes up too much that Dispatch is definitely coming back just yet.
