Changes in the Ocarina of Time Remake
When you first explore Ocarina of Time, you’ll notice a surprising number of minigames scattered throughout the world. There’s Bombchu Bowling with its famously hot attendant, a chest‑guessing game, fishing, a shooting gallery, and even a simple chicken game that rewards you with a bottle of Lon Lon Milk.
In the original version you could easily cheat the Cucco minigame at Lon Lon Ranch. By moving every Cucco into the corner behind Talon before the timer starts, the three special Cuccos would sit alone in the middle of the floor, making them obvious to pick.
That shortcut vanished in the remake. Talon now shuffles all the Cuccos around the room when you start the game, and you can’t force them into the corner any longer, even if you try to toss them up the stairs. Fortunately, the smoother controls on the Switch 2 make picking up and placing down Cuccos quicker, so you can still win on your first try without resorting to cheats.
Other small changes have been made. You can no longer climb the drawbridge chains in Hyrule Castle to grab rupees; you simply fall straight through them. Yet some tricks survive. Hitting butterflies with a Deku Stick still turns them into fairies, a quirk many players still love.
Yessss!! they kept one of my favorite feature from the OG Ocarina of Time. You can turn butterflies into fairies if you hit them with a deku stick!!!

Finally, the ability to tackle dungeons out of order remains, and you can still use the Lens of Truth (now called Goggles) to give yourself an edge on the chest minigame. Hopefully a similar trick will work for the shooting gallery, too.
