Odds & Ends Commander Deck List
The deck is built around Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign and focuses on casting spells with odd mana costs. It contains a mix of creatures, planeswalkers, sorceries, instants, artifacts, enchantments and lands, with key pieces such as Yennett, Approach of the Second Sun, Endwalker, Aeon Engine, and several reprint staples like Void Winnower, Sensei’s Divining Top, Breach the Multiverse, Smuggler’s Share, Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth and Toxrill, the Corrosive.
Deck Strategy
The commander’s ability lets you reveal the top card of your library; if its mana cost is odd you may cast it for free, otherwise you still draw it. This makes manipulating the top of the deck crucial. The deck aims to keep Yennett on the battlefield while using big spells to attack and trigger its ability. Because the commander costs five mana, keeping it alive is essential to avoid Commander tax.
Value
The deck offers strong value thanks to several high‑priced reprints. Notably, Esper Sentinel can exceed $60 in other printings, and the set’s MSRP is expected around $199‑$200, making the overall package a good investment compared to other Secret Lair releases that sell for about $150.
- Void Winnower – $20
- Sensei’s Divining Top – $36
- Breach the Multiverse – $10
- Smuggler’s Share – $10
- Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth – $17
- Toxrill, the Corrosive – $15
Release Outlook
While an exact launch date has not been confirmed, the deck appears ready for shipment, suggesting a release in 2026. The only reasons it might be delayed are further revisions to the list or Wizards’ decision to space out product drops, especially with more than 30 Commander precon decks slated for the year.
