Desert Festival Scholar Quiz
The 1.6 Update for Stardew Valley introduced the Desert Festival, a three‑day event that blends the Night Market vibe with fishing and Skull Cavern quests. During the festival, a wandering Scholar appears on the far right of the Calico Desert (Spring 15‑17) and offers a quiz for 50 Calico Eggs. Four random questions are selected from a pool of 30, and once you answer correctly you cannot retake the quiz until the next year.
Where to Find the Scholar
The Scholar can only be found during the Desert Festival, standing to the far right of the Calico Desert on Spring 15, 16, and 17. He challenges you to answer his questions for a reward of 50 Calico Eggs.
Quiz Overview
The quiz consists of 30 possible questions divided into four groups. Each group covers different aspects of the game, such as seasonal dates, NPC roles, crop and tree fruit seasons, fish and monster locations, animal prices, and basic town facts. You must be prepared to answer any of them, as the questions are chosen at random.
