Serpent Eye Guide: Find Phantom Blade Zero

Phantom Blade Zero’s main story is straightforward, but reaching the Mirage Estate forces you onto a side route that involves backtracking to three specific locations, as the front entrance is heavily guarded.

How To Enter The Mirage Estate

You must open the Serpent Door in the Green Serpent House, which requires three keys: the Serpent Tongue, the Serpent Fang, and the (White) Serpent Eye. The Tongue is found in the Black Serpent House of the Village of Lu, and the Fang lies in the Red Serpent House of the Crimson Forest. The Serpent Eye is located on an island in Meigu Lake, a spot many players miss.

The first two keys are easy once you have the Lion Mask, which you obtain after defeating Flame, The Mask‑Bound Lion Dance Grandmaster. The mask lets you burn wooden roadblocks, so teleport back to the Black and Red Serpent Houses, clear the branches, and collect the Tongue and Fang.

How to Get Serpent Eye

The Serpent Eye requires a new area. Follow the Sha‑Chi Powered Boat side‑quest to a lake in Pangzhen where a jet‑boat awaits. Sail toward the main quest marker, passing several islands. If you wish, disembark at a bell‑marked island and activate the bell to simplify later travel.

On the bell island, get off the boat, defeat two regular enemies and the Heartpiercer Elite Shadow Warden. The boss has a single phase and a large health pool, so parry and dodge his attacks until he falls.

After the battle, enter the Serpent House and claim the Serpent Eye. With all three keys now in your inventory, you can unlock the Serpent Door and proceed into the Mirage Estate to continue the main story.
