The Sinking City 2 Begins

Calvin awakens beside his wife Faye, who is still under a mysterious mask after a months‑long coma. The game thrusts you into a flooded Arkham where streets are blocked, evacuations are under way, and reanimated corpse monsters lurk around every corner. Your first objective is to reach the Library Annex.

Collectibles to Find Before Leaving the House

As you regain control of Calvin, several on‑screen items are logged in the Codex. They appear in this order: the Excerpt from “The Dream Realm” on a table, “About the Mask” on the opposite desk, “Final Warning!” on the kitchen wall, “Restricted Section Inventory” on a desk at the far end of the hall, “Farewell, Arkham!” on a table near the ladder after you exit onto the patio, and “Please!” hidden in a window on that patio.

Sailing to the Library Annex

After the cutscene, you board a small boat and navigate the former streets now turned into canals, heading toward the library. Dock near the “No Trespassing” sign, climb through a window, and proceed inside. Inside you’ll find boarded doors, learn to use the flashlight, and locate a save room after breaking through a wall. A clue on the bar points you to fuses located across the street at the Radio Store.

The Radio Store and the Fuse Puzzle

In the Radio Store you collect handgun ammo and electrical fuses from a red box, then face the game’s first monster. Aim for the red glowing spots on its body to conserve limited ammunition. After the fight, pick up the “From a Sister” clue and combine it with the earlier “To Martin” clue to complete the safe’s code. The note indicates the store has been open for 21 years; subtracting from the year 1929 gives the code 1908, which unlocks the kitchen safe for ammo and health pills.

Opening the Gate

Return to the gate near the library and solve a three‑part fuse puzzle: place the straight fuse on the bottom row to connect blue wires, the L‑shaped fuse for red cables, and the T‑shaped fuse for yellow and green wires in the top row. Use the lever to open the gate, then sail to the next gate, collect the “Lost Letters – Death Awaits” document, and sprint through the building filled with monsters to flip a final lever, open the last gate, and reach the dock. The first part of The Sinking City 2 ends with Calvin arriving at the Library Annex.
