RGB Mew Rumor Claims Rare Pull Rate

A Pokémon collectibles creator TheCardScience said they spoke with a Millennium Print Group employee (via Dexerto) who confirmed the RGB Mew exists, with three photo‑negative‑style variants and a pull rate of roughly 1 in 20,000 packs. It is rumored to be the rarest card ever produced, dwarfing the pull rates of other chase cards.

For context, the Perfect Order set’s Mega Hyper Rare Mega Zygarde ex has a pull rate of about 1 in 1,786 packs, according to TCG Player. The RGB Mew would be far rarer than the recent Futuristic Rare Mews and Mewtwo cards that have leaked ahead of release and are already fetching over $1,000 on eBay.

The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration set isn’t slated for official release until September 16, but early leaks are common due to black‑market activity at the manufacturing facilities. Until the set hits stores, it’s unclear whether the RGB Mew is a single card or part of a trio, and whether a RGB Mewtwo will also appear.

Fans have roughly four weeks to examine the drip‑feed reveals before the scalper‑driven frenzy intensifies.

To put this in perspective, cards from the Perfect Order set like Mega Hyper Rare Mega Zygarde ex have a pull rate of roughly 1 in 1786 packs, according to TCG Player. The mysterious RGB Mew cards would seemingly be much rarer even than the recent Futuristic Rare Mews and Mewtwo cards that have leaked ahead of release and gone up for sale on eBay, generating early bids over $1,000.

In the meantime, there’s nearly four weeks left for fans to pore over drip-feed reveals and rogue leaks. After that, the scalper-fueled madness will really begin.
