Firefox Now Supports GeForce Now
I use Firefox every day and have always been impressed by GeForce Now, Nvidia’s PC game‑streaming service that works surprisingly well.
It’s a red‑letter day in my house, because Firefox has just been added to the list of officially supported browsers. Andrew Fear, head of GeForce Now, said Firefox earned its place by delivering the world‑class experience players expect, and Mozilla notes the games are one of the toughest web tests after months of collaboration.
Chrome, Edge, Safari and Opera were already supported, but getting Firefox on board required extra work. Now Firefox users can stream more than 2,000 titles directly from their browser.
Last year I tested an RTX 5080‑equipped PC with GeForce Now’s Ultimate tier and felt like a dinosaur, yet the performance was remarkably close to a local install. I still prefer games running locally, but the experience is convincing enough that many might consider GFN instead of buying a new rig.
With more browsers available, the service becomes even more accessible, and the combination of Firefox and GeForce Now feels like oranges and greens working in harmony.
