All Side Journeys And How To Start Them

In The Witch’s Bakery, Lunne’s main goal is to heal the hearts of Parisians with her magical baked goods, but she also helps a cast of friends through optional Side Journeys. Completing these extra tasks is the key to 100% completion, as each one contributes to an achievement and unlocks relationship upgrades with the characters.

Side Journeys are mostly optional activities that run alongside the main story and daily chores. While they don’t affect the primary narrative, missing any of them will prevent you from earning the “Complete All Side Journeys” achievement and from maxing out every character’s relationship, which is primarily built through these extra missions.

It’s important to finish every available Side Journey before the story reaches its point of no return. After the TV interview airs, the game locks the city, and you won’t be able to explore further. The game doesn’t warn you, but the lock happens almost immediately after that broadcast, so make sure you’ve tackled all side tasks beforehand.

The Journey of Healing Hearts unlocks automatically after you meet Estelle and witness her Regret; she will appear at the bakery on her own as part of the story.

An Honest Partner requires you to visit Estelle’s home when she texts you to test a new pastry recipe. You can wait a while, but it’s best not to delay too long.

A Daredevil in Magic Shop begins when you first speak with Mirembe at Dans La Toile. Keep inviting her out to deepen the friendship and reach the first heart.

Youngsters in the Neighborhood is triggered by talking to Mr. Martin, the cinema owner, a few times.

An Acquired Taste becomes available after meeting Alluux, the plant shop owner, and helping her create a recipe that fixes the tomato flavor in her potion.

The Best Tips opens when you check the bakery on Rue des Barres; the owner eventually appears outside and invites you inside.

The Burden of Randomness starts when you talk to Mirembe after she asks for advice.

One of Us is unlocked by speaking with Hassan, the bookshop owner, on multiple occasions.

A Teacher And Caretaker begins when you talk to Ghaldari after Mirembe texts you that something big needs discussion.

A Business Perspective requires you to go to Estelle’s apartment after receiving her dinner invitation with a friend.

At Peace is started by chatting with Daniel on Fridays once you have access to the park.

Dad And Son is initiated by visiting Mawuli’s place when invited to play Maria Kart.

A Bond That Won’t Break triggers when Orin appears after a bakery shift and asks about a wedding cake.

The Decorator And The Witch begins when Judith shows up at the shop with a special baked good to help her overcome sadness.

Cauchemar Over Paris starts when Orio prompts you to go to the park; once there, check the statue to find Lys and help her finish the Cauchemar.
