Kingdom Hearts 25th Anniversary Exhibition Confirmed
Square Enix announced that the beloved Kingdom Hearts series will host a 25th‑anniversary exhibition featuring exclusive merchandise, Keyblade replicas and more.
Even though Kingdom Hearts 4 was absent from the recent Opening Night Live showcase, the past weeks have been packed with news for fans. The first Disney world, Coco, was revealed, a lengthy trailer debuted, and behind‑the‑scenes details were shared during D23’s Deep Dive panel.
The biggest announcement is that Kingdom Hearts 4 is officially locked in for a late‑2027 release, positioning it perfectly within the series’ quarter‑century celebrations and hinting at a broader slate of Square Enix projects.
Looks Like I’m Heading To Tokyo
The official Japanese Kingdom Hearts Twitter account revealed that the anniversary exhibition will run from February 5 to April 4, 2027, just before the March milestone. An official website and dedicated Twitter account are already live.
Fans will have to travel to the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Tokyo, which means the trip could be pricey. While Square Enix might hold additional events elsewhere, there’s no guarantee.
Despite the cost, the exhibition promises a lot: exclusive merchandise that will sell out quickly, a full‑size Keyblade replica, photo spots recreating famous scenes, documentary displays, and an immersive theatre experience. It sounds like a must‑see event for any Kingdom Hearts enthusiast, so I’ll be saving up to attend.
